  • How do I know if you can build on my land?

    RS1 Homes offers a FREE home site evaluation for our customers. If you currently own land or thinking about purchasing a piece of property, RS1 Homes will be happy to send one of our highly trained professionals to evaluate the property.

  • Can you help me if I don't have land?

    Relax... The majority of our customers do not have land when they first meet with us. We are one step ahead to help you through this process. Rs1Homes has teamed up with the best of the best Realtors on the North Shore, South Shore and Baton Rouge to find the perfect home site for your new home!

  • What kind of financing do you require to begin the building process?

    If you choose to finance the build of your new home, you will need to secure a "construction loan." Our lenders are experts in this field and will be glad to set an appointment with you to discuss the contruction loan process. Building a new home on your property operates differently than purchasing an existing home or a new home in of our communities. Typically Conventional, VA, FHA and RD loan finanacing supports existing home purchases and will not qualify as a construction loan.

  • What determines the cost of my home?

    Many factors can determine the final cost of your new home. Floor plan choice, foundation requirements, upgrades, plan modifications and more. Our New Home Specialists are happy to sit down with you to discuss your ideas and budget for your new home.
